SHAPSHAP TECHNOLOGIES LTD ("us", "we", or "our") operates the ShapShap mobile
application (the "Service").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of
Personal Information when you use our Service.
We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy
Policy.
We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service. By using the
Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the
same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
Definitions

Drivers: Also referred to as ShapHero these are drivers working directly with us or
working in partnership with us and a business partner. A driver can also be
independent.

Partner: A business partner who can invest in the business and have some drivers
working for them.

Customer app: The main Shapshap app with the name “shapshap” users download
and use this app to request for parcel deliveries and may use the app to buy items
from verified vendors

Customers: Customers use the customer app and request for deliveries that are
completed by the drivers

Device: The is the android device used by either driver or customer to use these
apps services
Information Collection And Use
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable
information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information
may include, but is not limited to, your email address, name, phone number, postal address
("Personal Information").
Log Data
When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain
information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use,
precise location data, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device,
your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other
statistics ("Log Data").
In addition, we may only use Google Analytics to collect, monitor and analyze this type of
information in order to increase our Service's functionality. These third party service
providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.
Location information
We may use and store information about your location, if you give us permission to do so.
We use this information to provide features of our Service, to improve and customize our
Service. You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at anytime,
through your mobile device settings.
  Location data (driver): We collect precise or approximate location data
from drivers’ and delivery persons’ mobile devices when the Shapshap
and ShapHero app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen)
or background (app open but not on-screen).
  Location data (drivers and customers). We collect precise or approximate
location information from drivers’ and customers’ mobile devices if they
enable us to do so via their device settings.
We collect such data from the time a trip or order is requested until it is
finished, and any time the ShapHero app is running in the foreground (app
open and on-screen).
  Riders can only use the ShapHero app properly with the location service
enabled. This allows the rider to receive trips and also navigate to the
required dropoff location
In addition, precise location data collected from a driver’s device during a
trip is linked to the rider’s account, even if the driver has not enabled
precise location data to be collected from their device. This data is used
for purposes such as receipt generation, customer support, fraud
detection, insurance and litigation.
Cookies
Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique
identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer's
hard drive.
We use "cookies" to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies
or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may
not be able to use some portions of our Service.
The Purpose for Which We Will Use Your Data
The information that we collect from you - We may use information held about you in the
following ways:
to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you
and us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you
request from us;
to provide you with information about other goods and services we offer that are
similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about;
to provide you with information about goods or services we feel may interest you. If
you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail
or SMS, Whatsapp or call) with information about goods and services similar to
those which were the subject of a previous sale or negotiations of a sale to you.
to ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for
you and to notify you about changes to our service;
to administer our site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data
analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;
to make suggestions and recommendations to you and other users of our site about
goods or services that may interest you or them.
Information we receive from other sources - We will combine this information with
information you give to us. We will use this information and the combined information for
the purposes set out above (depending on the types of information we receive).
Disclosure of Your Personal Information

  • A drivers’ information may be shared with a partner who the driver is directly
  • working with. The information shared will be the drivers contact information
  • Driver contact information(phone number and name) is shared with the customer
  • when there is an ongoing order/delivery between the driver and the customer

  • We share your precise location(customer) at time of making an order/delivery
  • request with the driver only when there is an ongoing order/delivery
    You(driver only) agree that we have the right to share your personal information:
  • with our partners;
  • with financial service providers, including the financial institutions identified in
    your cardholder bank agreement that provide banking services in connection with your
    account;
  • with non-financial companies, such as email service providers that perform
    marketing services on our behalf, and fraud prevention service providers that use the
    information to provide services to us;
  • with a non-affiliated third-party to access and transmit your personal and financial
    information from a relevant financial institution. You grant the third-party the right, power,
    and authority to access and transmit this information according to terms of their privacy
    policy;
  • with selected third parties including business partners, suppliers and sub-
    contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you;
  • with third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our
    business or our assets or alternatively, acquire all or parts of their businesses;
  • in response to a request for information, if we are required by, or we believe
    disclosure is in accordance with, any applicable law, regulation or legal process; and
  • with relevant law enforcement officials or other third parties, such as investigators
    or auditors, if we believe it is appropriate to investigate fraud.

    It is imperative that your data with us is current and accurate. You may request for the
    rectification of any personal data that we hold about you so as to enable you to correct any
    incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you. We may, however, need to verify the
    accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
    Service Providers
    We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide
    the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing
    how our Service is used.
    These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on
    our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

    We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or
    promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt
    out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe
    link or instructions provided in any email we send.

    We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena or
    if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable
    requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service.
    Business Transaction
    If SHAPSHAP Technologies LTD is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your
    Personal Information may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal
    Information is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
    Security and Retention
    The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method
    of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we
    strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we
    cannot guarantee its absolute security.
    We will retain your data for as long as necessary for the said purpose of the processing, and
    after that, we will keep your data as long as the law requires.
    International Transfer
    Your information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to — and maintained
    on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental
    jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
    If you are located outside Nigeria and choose to provide information to us, please note that
    we transfer the information, including Personal Information, to Nigeria and process it there.
    Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information
    represents your agreement to that transfer.

    Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a
    third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to

    Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children").
    We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If
    you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with
    Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected
    Personal Information from children under age 18 without verification of parental consent,
    we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

    You have the right to:

    request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to
    check that we are lawfully processing it.

    have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need
    to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.

    also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have

    before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to
    provide certain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time
